Book Review ~ Donna Perugini Childrens Books

I love books! You know that...the written word has the power to create adventures, take you away to foreign lands, take your breathe away and also take away the cares of your day.

I can not think of a better thing to share with your kids...sharing books with your kids creates the spark of imagination and sets their sails on to some of their most amazing adventures!

When Donna Perugini contacted me about taking a look at her books I was absolutely intrigued. As you know I lead our Kids Ministry at church and part of that passion for kids is to "plant the seeds of God's love into the hearts of kids".

I have to tell you that Donna's books are just the thing for you and your family if you are looking to start planting those seeds in the hearts of the kids in your life.

The books have a sweet simplicity about them that just grabs you and draws you into the stories. They are easy to read, beautifully illustrated and my absolute favorite part is that they have a Christian heart and message in each book.  I can't wait to share Orville, Amelia Airheart Butterfly, Antrew Ant and even "Don't Hug a Grudge" with the kids at my church.

Donna has been involved with Children's Ministry for over three decades now and it absolutely shows in her books. She gets right into the hearts of the kids by sharing these simple, touching and adorable stories that kids can easily understand and learn from.

Donna even has you tube videos set up with each book so you can show the videos with the books and listen to the songs that go along with each book.

The Flight of Orville Wright Caterpillar (1st book in the series)

The Adventure of Amelia Airheart Butterfly in bye! bye! Dragonfly!  (2nd book in the series)

Do Angels Go Camping?  (3rd book in the series)

I recently heard from Donna and she also mentioned that although "Don't Hug a Grudge" doesn't have songs as of yet, that Joyce Meyer used it in her teaching series, "Bitterness, Resentment and Unforgiveness" by using the words in her teaching (based off the book) "Are you holding a grudge or is the grudge holding you?".
