I absolutely loved this book! It is completely adorable and perfect for a Saturday afternoon cuddle on the couch with a cuppa coffee & a great book. As a matter of fact that is exactly what I did when I got a chance to read Becky Wade's break out novel.
With an easy to read, suck you right in style you jump right into Kate's life. The complicated Matt Jarreau is just the perfect character that makes you sit on the edge of your seat in anticipation of what will happen next. Charming, sweet and full of God's grace...this book will be one of your favorites this summer, just wait!
On the Back of the Book:
Kate Donovan is burned out on work, worn down by her dating relationships, and in need of an adventure. When Kate's grandmother asks Kate to accompany her to Redbud, Pennsylvania, to restore the grand old house she grew up in, Kate jumps at the chance.
Yet, she discovers a different kind of project upon meeting the man hired to renovate the house. Matt Jarreau is attractive and clearly wounded -- hiding from people, from God, and from his past. Kate can't help but set her stubborn heart on bringing him out of the dark and back into the light... whether he likes it or not.
When the stilted, uncomfortable interactions between Kate and Matt slowly shift into something more, is God finally answering the longing of her heart? Or will Kate be required to give up more than she ever dreamed?
