Over the last few months I have felt burdened to start a journal. Yes, I have lots of little journal books for lists, thoughts and ideas but not really one that is wholly and completely set up to record all my praises and prayers to God.
When I saw this Devotional Journal by Gloria Copeland I knew this could be just the right thing to help me get started. As I sat and looked through each page I wondered what the words would be that fill these pages.
Each page is beautiful in and of itself, with a pale green hue with white vines flowing through it the writer is immediately relaxed and able to have peace for a few minutes as she prepares to write the words or her heart. With a journal prompt at the top of each page it makes it easier for the writer to get started on her journaling journey.
Each day you take a minute for "Reflecting on His Goodness" with lines for you to write your thoughts down (I love journals with lines). On the next page there's room for "Experiencing His Goodness" where you are led through some questions to answer. At the bottom of each page it has a Scripture verse, which is a great way to start to learn more of His word.
I'm truly looking forward to filling these pages with the hopes, prayers, dreams, praises, and desires of my heart for 2011.
In this BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE Devotional Journal, Gloria Copeland shows readers how to embrace God's goodness and learn to trust Him with every area of their lives. She confirms, "Only by placing our lives in His hands can we open the way for Him to save us, and bless us, and work through us," generating lives of faith, hope, and confidence. Reflective and personal application questions will guide the user of the devotional journal in their personal growth. Space to record thoughts and insights are also provided. This lively journal offers all of that and more, with the expectation that God will use it to help the reader experience all the blessings of the Lord.
Gloria Copeland is an internationally known Bible teacher and bestselling author. She holds honorary doctorates from Oral Roberts University and Life Christian University. Gloria and her husband, Kenneth, are the founders of Kenneth Copeland Ministries in Fort Worth, Texas (www.kcm.org).
