Book Review ~ This Little Prayer of Mine

There are few things in life that I absolutely love more than coffee & chocolate and that would be a really great book. When I was contacted by the author of this book, Anthony DeStefano, to do a review I knew it was a perfect fit for Mel's World.

What I wasn't expecting was to find this precious little gem of a book. I've been in Kids Ministry at church for almost ten years and have seen so many great kids books, but very few have had the impact that I think this book, This Little Prayer of Mine, will have.

It's beautifully decorated pages are filled with simple words of love, grace, and acceptance for our kids to know what it means to be loved with the amazing love of our Father in Heaven.

Everyone should have a copy of this little treasure for their home, for their Kids Ministry, and for their church. I can't wait to share it with my own kids and the kids I'm blessed to love on each weekend at my church.

Click here to go directly to the author's website for this book, you'll be so glad you did!

What a small world, Melissa! I just read this (beautiful) book to my kids tonight. Even though they are 8 and 10, they loved it! (Anthony sent me his book as well and I'm looking forward to posting about his book.) :)

Aww, thank you for sharing. I am always looking for something to help teach our children to pray. I will check this out.
Our children always pray for meals and such. They are always checking each other to make sure they pray. Savannah(3) when she does Grace for dinner she is the one that will include EVERYONE in her blessing of the meal I feel bad but sometimes I have to cut her off and say Amen when she takes a second to Inhale for another round of friends she feels need to be blessd LOL. I think she would LOVE this little book.
