Wordless Wednesday ~ Get Away

Let me just go on the record and say that my hubby totally rocks! This past Sunday was my 38th birthday, and it was also the "end" of our VBS at church (yay!). So to celebrate he whisked me away to the West Coast of Florida for a 2 night "get away". (Told ya he rocks!)

The top picture was the sunset last night over Naples Beach and the bottom picture was my "favorite" place in our suite. Sometimes all you need is a get away to get your head clear, get some peace, and find refreshment!

Then Sings My Soul ~ I Am Free

Each and every week my wonderful friend, Amy, over at Signs, Miracles, and Wonders hosts a weekly meme called "Then Sings My Soul Saturday's". I love participating in this meme because it is a great way to share awesome worship music with each other, and also celebrate our week with a song that is sort of a re-cap of the week.

This week has been go, go, go, and more go for me, as we have been having our VBS at church. I never ever realized just how much work goes into planning a VBS, and now have a new respect for those in ministry that do these year after year after year. WOW!

One of the songs we sang all week at Summer Camp (VBS) was "I AM FREE" and since it was a kid favorite during camp and also since camp is now over I thought it would be a GREAT song to celebrate for this week.
