Speak to My Soul Scripture ~ Acts 2:25-28

I've been in the Word more than ever these days and started to re-read through the Book of Acts today and was graced by this beautiful passage. I thought it would be great to share this nugget with each of you too...

Acts 2:25-28 (NLT) ~

25 King David said this about him:

‘I see that the Lord is always with me.

I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.

26 No wonder my heart is glad,

and my tongue shouts his praises!

My body rests in hope.

27 For you will not leave my soul among the dead[a]

or allow your Holy One to rot in the grave.

28 You have shown me the way of life,

and you will fill me with the joy of your presence.’

Mercy Me ~ Bring the Rain

It has been a "season" of rain these last couple of months and I am looking for the joy and sunshine in the midst of the storms. I love music and the opportunity to worship our God with song, so this week it was more than fitting that I would pick a song about rain.

I'm sitting here at my desk watching the storms blow outside my window as well as the storms blowing through our life right now and I can find peace in knowing that God has never left us nor forsaken us. He is God, He is good, and for that I am so thankful!

John 16:32a, "Yet I am not alone for my Father is with me"

Sit back, grab your coffee, and enjoy MERCY ME sing "BRING THE RAIN".
