I've Been Unplugged...

...I wanted to touch base with y'all and let you know that I have been "unplugged" for the last week on a family vacation. This was probably the first time in almost ten years where I didn't check email, didn't blog, didn't really open my laptop and I have to tell you that it felt good (strange, for sure, but also strangely peaceful!)

Although I missed you all dearly it is SO important at times to step away for a bit to gain focus and clarity on what's really important. So that's what I did...for one week my family and I went to a small island on the north coast of Florida and hung out at the beach with my hubby's family.

All fourteen of us shared a beautiful beach house and in that time we focused on what's most! I can't wait to share with you some of the pictures, stories, and lessons I learned in the week and hope you have all had a terrific Labor Day holiday!

Be blessed and thanks for stopping by to visit with me in Mel's World!

Glad you had such a nice vacation! Yes... time away is definitely good, and necessary. Healthy balance is a wonderful thing. :)
