Advisory Group Meeting

What a great meeting we had on Thursday, 10/19!!! It is always so stinkin' awesome to get people together, but it is even more cool for me when the people who come are the "Difference Makers" in their churches when it comes to kids.

We had about a little over 20+ come to the meeting and they came from churches as far as South Miami all the way north to Boca Raton. God is so good!!! We talked about 1st Impressions - You only get one chance to make a great 1st Impression! It was really a great time for us to talk, share ideas, and care for each other.

I took my teaching outline from bits and pieces of Mark L Waltz's book (Granger Community Church) about 1st Impressions. We went over the acronym H.E.L.L.O (remember, the scene in Jerry Maquire..."You had me at HELLO!") and talked about how in our ministries having a good 1st Impression can really make the difference.

We are taking the rest of the year off...this is PRIME time in ministry season and each of us really need to "focus our energy" on what God has called us to do. I would ask that you pray for this Advisory Group...God has done some amazing things through it and I know that He has plenty more in store.
